As a member of the Alpha Bank Group, Alpha Leasing Romania IFN started a financing program for SMEs through a credit line of 5 million EUR, obtained from the EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (BERD).
Alpha Leasing Romania IFN together with a team of consultants of the BERD offers assistance to the companies interested by this facility in view of successfully implementing the financing program.

FEATURES OF THE FINANCING FROM Alpha Leasing Romania IFN – BERD
The financed value for a project represents the difference between the value of the equipment and the down payment paid based on the leasing contract;
The financed value for a project can be:
- maximum 30,000 EUR for “micro” projects; average value/project of 10,000 EUR
- maximum 125,000 EUR for “small” projects; average value/project of 50,000 EUR
The total amount of the financed values that a company or a group of companies can benefit from through the BERD facility cannot exceed 250,000 EUR;
DESTINATION OF THE FINANCING FROM Alpha Leasing Romania IFN – BERD
Financing of the acquisition of equipment to be used in the manufacturing activity, provision of services and trading, accomplishment of new projects, modernization or extension of the existing activity.
Types of equipment that can make the object of the financed project:
- Trading vehicles
- Vehicles for transportation and forklifts
- Construction vehicles
- Construction equipment
- Equipment for industrial processing
- Equipment for alimentary industry
- Equipment for wood processing
- Equipment for textile industry
- Equipment for packing and wrapping
- Electronic and photographic equipment
- Equipment for typographies and printing houses
- Medical devices
- Equipment and furniture for offices
- Other types of equipment
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Authorized natural persons and SMEs who comply with the following conditions can benefit from financing:
They have not benefited from any other financing through Alpha Leasing Romania IFN;
The maximum number of employees is of 100. Nevertheless, depending on the nature of the business, it can reach to 250;
The registered capital is entirely private, and shareholders are natural or legal persons with domicile / registered office in Romania or abroad.
Annual turnover: maximum 40 mil. EUR;
Total assets: maximum 27 mil. EUR;
They obtained all the approvals and licenses (as the case may be) necessary for the start of the project;
They develop their activity in accordance with the legal provisions regarding the environment protection.
THERE WILL BE NO FINANCING FOR
Weapons or military equipment manufacture;
Financial institutions or insurance companies;
Manufacture/trading of tobacco and highly alcoholic drinks;
Casinos, real estate speculations, financial and foreign currency speculations, investments in any kind of titles;
Activities included on the BERD list regarding the failure to comply with the regulations regarding the environment protection;
Options of refinancing or closing of other credit facilities.
